About Us

Cazenovia Abroad was founded in 1967 by Pat Trush and it continues to be a family-owned and operated business today.  Pat discovered treasures abroad on business trips she took with her husband, John.  While he searched and purchased items for his electrical distribution business, she looked for unique items from all over the world for her friends and family.

Her friends and family asked her to buy more of the marvelous pieces she brought home, which were quickly bought up by their friends who then begged her to find more! And so she did on subsequent trips abroad and shortly after Cazenovia Abroad was born. The rest, as they say, is history.

For decades, Pat personally created and designed many of the silver ornaments, rattles and pieces Cazenovia Abroad has become so famous for.  Customers of Cazenovia Abroad’s unique silver items can be found in all points of the globe.  Many have traveled to Cazenovia  - a little town in Upstate New York, whose main street is part of Cazenovia Abroad’s logo – to visit Pat and buy more of these items.

Before her passing, Pat worked with Lisa, her youngest child and only daughter, to design ornaments and rattles to expand Cazenovia Abroad’s already impressive collection and ensure her legacy and imagination continues.  Lisa has created and designed some of Cazenovia Abroad’s bestselling pieces including, Engine #925, Father Christmas, Frog Prince and many others.  Today, Cazenovia Abroad is still a family owned an operated business, which Lisa runs.  She continues her mother's legacy of creating and designing these silver items while running the day-to-day operations at Cazenovia Abroad.

You can call Lisa from 10-5pm EST Monday through Saturday at 315-655-3433.
